Orange Fun

     I'm going to start out by saying my work week totally blows, I will be at Kosair everyday this week at some time or another. I worked on Monday night into Tuesday morning, I work tonight and Thursday night into Friday morning, then I work Saturday night and Sunday night! I will be exhausted by the time the week is through. Today was Ashlyn's first day back at school since last Wednesday, she has been on fall break and we have both loved every minute of it. I loved being able to sleep in on Friday morning!
     Yesterday Josh brought home a pumpkin for Ashlyn that Papa Jim had gotten for her. For some reason this year we have about 10 pumpkins! Ashlyn has been to the pumpkin patch twice and to a pumpkin farm this year. We still want to go to Huber's, but I am not sure we will find the time. Since we have so many pumpkins, we decided to paint the pumpkin and give it to Papa Jim and Mamaw Carolyn to put on their front porch. Ashlyn had a great time painting the pumpkin, and note since she was painting she wanted to wear her "yucky Kentucky" shirt. Ashlyn was so excited to take the pumpkin to Papa Jim! While at Mamaw and Papa's I think we might have talked Papa Jim into building Ashlyn a castle bed, now if I could only find a cheap blueprint to make one!

     Today was Orange day at school! I think I am going to start making up a themed day for school everyday. Ashlyn was excited to put her orange shirt on and didn't complain at all. Although I didn't make up orange day, I do believe I may make Friday blue jean day!
