Fall Fun

      Fall weather is finally here and I love it! It is so relaxing to sit outside and enjoy the breeze. Yesterday we were able to leave our windows open all day long. It made my house the perfect temperature and smell of freshly fallen leaves. Laura, Ashlyn, and I started off our Sunday morning with a pedicure. Ashlyn got here toes and nails done, of course she has already picked her fingernail polish off. I told her she was only allowed to get her toes done from now on. While waiting for our toes to dry Laura was reading an interview on Faith Hill. Accrording to Faith Hill coca cola cake is on her top 10 holiday foods, so Laura and I decided that we needed to try coca cola cake. When we got back to the house we grilled out and had a delicious lunch. I took a quick nap, and then the boys went to the store to get the ingredients for coca cola cake. Althought he cake had lots of steps, it was well worth it in the end.
      Ashlyn loves the leaves changing colors. Apparently that is what they have been talking about at preschool, because that is all she can talk about lately. She said Ms. Amy said that we could rake up all the leaves and jump in them. I am sure daddy would like to thank Ms.Amy since he had to rake the whole backyard yesterday so that Ashlyn could jump in the leaves. We tried to let Evan jump in the leaves as well but he was not that into it. Laura and I had to show Ashlyn how to jump in them correctly, luckily John wasn't able to catch me on camera jumping in them but he did catch Laura. After leave jumping the men cleaned out our gutters and Ashlyn and Evan played inside. Laura and and I set a date for our 31 party and walked around the neighborhood handing out invitations. That will be the second party this month!
      The pictures I am going to post below are a mixture of mine, Laura, and Mamaw Kris's pictures. Ashlyn went to the football on Friday with Mamaw Kris. Apparently Ashlyn was sitting on the bleacher behind Kris and when Kris turned around to check on her she realized she had snuck an accesory to the game! She is very stylish!
