Let it Snow

The snow has finally arrived and I do believe it is planning on staying for awhile. I hope the winter isn't as bad as it is predicted to be! I feel like everytime it snowed last year I was at work and had to drive home in it! Ashlyn has enjoyed the snow so far! I do believe we spend more time getting her ready to go outside than the time she actually spends outside! Then I spend double that time cleaning up the mess she tracks into my house. Mamaw Kris and I both took a few pics of Ashlyn playing in the snow!

Last week Ashlyn got to go on her second field trip. The field trip was to Derby Dinner Playhouse to see "Christmas in Candyland". I didn't think she would enjoy it, but boy was I wrong. She loved the play and the singing and dancing. She wants to go back sometime soon. I wasn't able to get too many pics from the field trip, since no cameras are allowed during the show.

Ashlyn and I have been trying to get into the Christmas spirit, so we decided to make Christmas ornaments made out of melting beads. Poor Ashlyn has a mom who sucks with crafts. We made two ornaments, but only one of them actually survived the process. Ashlyn had a blast making the ornaments and that's all that matters!

Tonight was Ashlyn's Christmas Program at Wee-Ones. Last year Ashlyn refused to sing and just stood there twirling her hair, so this year I bribed her. I told her if she actually participated this year I would let her open a present under the tree. She knew that one of her presents had to do with Justin Bieber and she couldn't wait to open it, so she performed and did a great job. I was so proud of her! She is finally coming out of her shell. I'm sure our family was glad she performed this year as well, since they all watched her stand there last year!

Here she is finally getting to open her present. I will let you decide if you think she liked it or not! She is going to be so much fun this Christmas!

This is suppose to say I love JB! She got close!
