On the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th day of Christmas...

   I know I am behind, but every spare minute I get I have to shop or wrap presents. I have officially finished all shopping and wrapping today! Thank goodness! This what my dining room looks like after all the presents were wrapped! If you look real close you might find Bob the Elf in the pictures!

    Ashlyn has had lots of fun opening up her presents lately! She has been bouncing off the walls today since tomorrow starts our first family Christmas! First we are going to Josh's Dad's house for Christmas with them, then we are going to Josh's Grandma and Grandpa Sawyer's house for Chicken and Dumplings and Presents! I am not sure if I am more excited about the Chicken and Dumplings or the presents! On Christmas Eve we are going to my Grandparents house for dinner and presents. It is suppose to start snowing that evening, so I hope we can get home for Santa to come! I also hope we can make it to Josh's Aunts house on Christmas Day! I like a white Christmas, but no so white that we can't see our family! Now it is time to see what all Ashlyn has gotten for Christmas lately!

2 Presents! Ashlyn got a kitty cat blanket and a new pair of PJ's!

( She loves them both! She uses the blanket every night, along with her other blanket of course. She never wants to take the new PJ's off, as you will see in the next pictures to come! Ashlyn looks a little rough in these pictures. She had just returned home from her fist sleepover at Jenna's house. She had a great time!)

( She loves the book because she is able to draw in it! She loves to draw and loves Hello Kitty, so it is the perfect present!)

A Princess Stepping Stone!

( I got this on sale at the end of summer. Ashlyn will love creating this stepping stone this summer.She gets to mold the concrete and paint it afterwards. We will see how it turns out! Notice the outfit for the 3rd day in a row!)



   Last week Ashlyn and I bought a gingerbread train to decorate. On Monday night Ashlyn and I got the train out and decided to decorate it. It was my first every gingerbread experience. I think we did a pretty good job for our first time!

On the 4th and 5th day of Christmas

     Ashlyn doesn't miss a beat when it comes to the 12 days of Christmas. As soon as we wake up in the morning, she is ready to open a present. We had a busy day today! Today was Evan's 1st birthday party, and we didn't have him a present yet. I now understand why people say Ashlyn is hard to buy for. She is like Evan and has everything they want and need. It seems like there is nothing left to buy them.
     I went to the malls in Louisville to buy Evan clothes, and of course I ended up buying Ashlyn clothes. I couldn't pass up the sales, and of course I couldn't let my coupons go to waste! Ashlyn through a fit in Gymboree because I wouldn't buy her the yellow leggings, instead of the blue ones.  I thought I was going to kill her! She threw the leggings down on the floor and said, " I will never wear the stupid blue ones." I would have beat her right there, but I didn't want to cause more of a scene than she was already causing by herself.  I bought her a scarf from Gap and she wore it around the mall backwards the whole time! She can be such a handful!

 Last night Ashlyn was so tired she went to her playroom and went to sleep on her couch . When I went to move her to her bed this is what I found.....

   I guess her life has been stressful lately! She woke up this morning very disappointed that I had removed it from her face. Anyways we will get back to the 12 days of Christmas!

On the 2nd and 3rd day of Christmas..

    Ashlyn has the spread the stomach virus! I was hoping I wouldn't get it, but of course life isn't that easy! Josh has yet to get the virus, but I am sure it is coming. Of course the stomach virus doesn't stop Ashlyn from opening presents! Since I was sick I didn't get pictures of Ashlyn opening her present yesterday, but I did take pictures of her today with both of her presents.

A Christmas Singamajig
( This is a new hot toy out this year. When you squeeze his belly he sings jingle bells. The slower you squeeze the slower he sings. The faster you squeeze the faster he sings. If you have more than one they harmonize together. I bet there might be more under the tree on Christmas morning!)
